OMEGU confusion

hey guys a little confused about the OMEGU-300 in the files are a med and pacific pack, and it says to use in witch area im operating in. i am confused can i use 1 for the entire campaign and still go into say the pacific region with the med pack on ? and vice versa? and do i need to install either of them or can i run it without? major confusion not that big on using mods so kinda new

I think they just change the predominant water color in whatever body of ocean you are in.

does anybody know if i play op monsun will i still get patrols out to the pacific? in arears if i was playing us campiagn?
