Already got it and read it twice inasmuch as I had actually been to Chicago to see the boat. Good read! Welcome back(SEVEN YEARS!) and thanks for posting; Also have Hitler's Uboat War and Black May on kindle...all informative.

Amazon has selected the Kindle book to run at a special promotional price three times now. $3.99 is such a great deal for a really insightful book. Please tell anyone you know who might be interested. It's great to get new people interested in subs when they read books like this.

I went to the U-505 back in 2007. What an experience. I'd love to go back and see it again.

By the way, you might be interested in Hunt and Kill: U-505 and the U-boat War in the Atlantic too. It's now in paperback.
