Is there a mod that works...

So I went to the "Mods for Beginners" thread and started going through it. Showed me a youtube video that apparently the information on it is obsolete. It said to go to [TEC] Jonesoft Generic Mod sticky....... That link is no longer available. So now I'm stuck on trying to learn how to install mods. I just want to do 2 things. I want my hydrophone to "hear" things further, and I would like to hold more torpedoes. I'm not looking to hold ballistic missiles on my sub. I just want to hear and hold more. Nothing big. Nothing major. I just don't know what to do.

Any help?

You can't: the 'physical world' in SH5 extends for a radius of abot 40km from your sub; beyond this radius nothing is viewable/audible, and stock hydrophone ranges are already set longer than the said limit. What you can do, is making your AI sonarman to 'hear' long range contacts as good as close ones. If you are interested into this kind of cheat, I can give you instructions on how to create it.
