Default Manual Targeting Issues

Hi Guys,

I was hoping to avoid asking dumb questions but looks like I have to, so apologies in advance.

I've just been watching some You Tube vids on manual targeting, and noticed that it's apparantly essential to have the "visual speech text box" where the XO IDs the ship and gives the bearing etc etc so that you can then manually input the details to the TDC when you click the relevant link.

When I lock a target and tell the XO to ID a ship, or even plot a solution, I get an acknowledgement in the message window and that's it. But nothing happens. (that I can tell anyway!)

Yes I can viusally ID it myself if needed using the Recognition Book admittedly.

So my problem is that the "speech" text box(es) don't appear at all in my game and consequently I'm unable to add all the required data to the TDC and well, let's just say the my torpedoes aren't exactly on target lol.

Is it a setting in the game options somewhere, or in TDWs Generic Patcher? I can't figure this out for the life of me (yet!)

My mod setup is as per Fifi's full list, and in exactly the order he describes.

Many thanks in advance 'cos this is driving me nuts! lol
