Default How to change hull damage when sub lie on the bottom? (mega sober mod)

Hello
I`m old men I` played Silent Service in 80th ... So please talk to me very slow...
I have 2 questions:
First
I use sober mega mod - with generic patcher. BUt when my sub lie on the bottom hull integrity slowly decrease. Slowly but still. I would like to disnegage this process. How? What file, what to change?
In my opinion - I love read books of Second World War, memories of many sub captains, sailors (Germans too) lie on the bottom can`t damage sub hull. So I would like lie on the bottom without any damage at any time.

Second
After some patrols ,many time i open and closed recognition/ID book (with German eagle and swastik, its SOAN mod? I`m not sure) And suddenly this book disappeared! I think, that book is closed and moved out of the screen - is invisible.
How can I make her visible? Open on the center of the screen?
Other charts are visible - minefileds, shipping, manouvering charts and many others.

Please help me and write cleraly, please, i`m not so good in mods, files, py files...

Dan

This happens to me from time to time, too. I think the reason is as follows: The recognition manual can be in an opened or closed state. If you move it too far to the left, while it is opened, and then close it, it will be off the screen, not visible anymore. I try to remember to FIRST close the recognition manual, and THEN move it out of the way, but sometimes I forget about that.
There is a workaround, if that happened to you. Close the game and delete the file "Pagelayout_Draggables.TDW" in your silent hunter 5 installation folder. This will make the game forget, where you put the recognition manual (and some other UI elements) and show it at its default location.

An alternative would be to let your crew identify a ship, if you used the SOAN option in the OptionFileEditorViewer that opens the SOAN and flips to the correct page, it should open, and preset you the little tab to drag it back onto the screen ...
