Need help with Magnum Opus

As a developer I'm accustomed to standard versioning. I cannot figure out first of all what the latest version is. I think I currently have version 1, patch 2.7.

When I install it and run it I have a ton of windows open, the tactical screen is locked open, there is a gunner tutorial screen on top which intrigues me, but nothing works.

Naturally I'm running SH5 Gold and is up to date with patches. Can't be a mod conflict as this was the only one loaded. I was hoping the Automation mod was included but cannot get far enough with this one to get things running.

So I used JSGME to apply it after doing the report of my modules. I was in port. I followed directions to apply the patch, load up in port, exit, and restart into port. But the windows don't close and the UI is dead, dead. deader than a doornail.

Magnus Opus is a discontinued mega mod. You won't get support on it by its author, and most of the mods which were part of it were heavily updated after MO's release.

Yes, in my research I finally found the post that said it is old and out of date.

I think there was a loss of interest once sh5 was in the works, kinda took all the wind out of the sails of those hoping to make sh4 a combination of both sh3 and sh4 at the same time

InvisibleDeath its more then that, that mod is for a completely different game. its designed to be used with sh4 NOT the sh5 game so there is a big problem for you right there lol. we all make mistakes, just read those mod read mes so you are sure its for the correct game and correct game version you are running.
