$#%@%&*+ of torpedos!

I had it with torpedoes failures! 0 sinkings do to that!
Good to perfect shots waisted. A patrol ruined, 3 convoys that didn't lost a single ship. I already select 1m of depth and still they run 4 or 5 meters deep than the keel of target ship!
Kill all the torpedos engs and developers!!!! Flush the all department

Relax and kill them in your head ! You had bad experiences....

In what year ? Which pistols you are using ? Which torpedo you are using ? T II's have depth keeping failure in the beginning.

Be thankful you're not in the US Navy. The torpedoes only seem to work when they circle and hit you.

Yeah, that's true. I don't think anyone's head ever rolled at the US Navy's Weapon Bureau.

I'm pretty sure the guy who bounced 3 torpedoes off the battleship Nelson which was carrying Churchill and other VIPs said the same things.

And pretty much every Kaleun at sea in April 1940.

Ain't more historical mods great!!

No problem, I was simply trying to point the link with realism.

My sympathies Rhodes. If it's any consolation, you're not alone with the torpedoes doing whatever they like and very little of what we would like them to do Let's have a drink at the officers' mess and raise the glass to English engineers who have managed to actually make torpedoes that work, unlike the German or the American ones

I can only imagine what it feels like to have working torpedoes again. What I can't imagine is using the one torpedo, one ship tactic right now - nor using magnetic pistols

Rhodes, I feel your pain. I am running H.Sie's patch which models the 25% failure rate at the beginning of the war, and slowly reduces the % failure.

On several of the patrols I have had no torpedo impacts. Most of the time they run deep, but the few that run at the prescribed depth fail to detonate.

I have noticed that they tend to run deep or fail in rough seas. In calm and even light/moderate seas they do fine.
