Convoy Bait ball

Enjoying the SHIII with GWX3.0 mod this weekend.

Did something that resulted in quite an "great" situation for a U-Boat commander.

I was hunting a convoy for about three days Would make a pass and take out 1 ship and then slink away under hounding of depth charges.

But on the third day, I took out the last of three escorting destroyers with a stiff rear torpedo in it as it "backed" up to avoid crashing into a merchent ship.
Seeing the destroyer come to a stop as a small merchent swerved to avoid it and then actually seeing it back up was awesome enough.
BTW I managed to time my torpedo to hit him square in the side as was transistioning from backing up to forward again.

But what really was amazing is what happened next.

As the last escort went down, all the ships just paniced an went in every direction! Convoy Broken!!!

nice,

btw i'd be curious what wind speed and direction was at that moment .. smoke directions from funnels look quite crazy when you see them all like that ..
