How do I use deck gun optics?

Hey guys, when I switch to deck gun mode and click on the little button in the top left corner, I believe I switch to what is called the 'deck gun optics'. I guess you have to set the angle of the gun depending on how far away the enemy ship is, but I don't know what to make of all those numbers. Any help would be appreciated

whit mouse scroll ... when u scroll up the angel is bigger and u will shot long distance and thoes numbers are the distance .... when u scroll down u will shot closer.
