Default CIA acknowledges secret 'Area 51'

The truth is out there

Quote:
The CIA has officially acknowledged the secret US test site known as Area 51, in a newly unclassified internal history of the U-2 spy plane programme.
The document obtained by a US university describes the 1955 acquisition of the Nevada site for testing of the secret spy plane.
It also explains the site's lingering association with UFOs and aliens.

You really do have to laugh, at last the cat is out the bag. What next G.Bush Jnr really was a chimpanzee? Black Ops programs are really only computer games? Scully and Maulder are fictitious ? Some times I wonder if CIA is an acronym for Caught In the Act.

Wake up sheeple! this is just a ruse to distract you from Area 52! That's where the government secretly probes aliens.

I don't think anything other than routine ferry traffic has flown out of Groom Lake for a looong time. Nice to see that it finally exists officially now though.

Sure, it started out as the test facility for the U-2 but, has continued to grow long after the plane was retired from service. Skunkworks for Stealth planes etc, etc. Whether or not they are reverse engineering an alien craft there is still high speculation and a question that may never see an answer.

Woah, wait a minute; didn't the U.S. government or Air Force already acknowledge the existence of Area 51 back in the late 90s or early 21st century? I thought this was old news.

The plane though highly modified is still in service.

I stand corrected. It's only natural though. After all the money they poured into its development and initial deployment and the Groom Lake facility where it was tested. High five for the designers and builders of the day. Nothing is built to last this long anymore. Plus it took a near space shot to bring one down. Not an easy feat in and of itself. Props to the Soviets on their aim.

Note to other countries who aim to misbehave... "We're looking at choo"

What is sad is the CIA had to lay off the employee who was keeping Area 51 a secret for so log:

"This is not the alien warehouse you are looking for..."

The government may have acknowledged "an" Area 51, but do we know it is "the" Area 51? (cue dramatic music)

Existence of what? Area 51?
There's no such place.

Just look right here if you would please...
