SH2 Does anyone still play this?
I only ask as I`ve been at the game on and off for years. The Das Boot sound pack and the big screen TV means I cannot break away from it. I`ve tried SH3 and although it looks good I keep going back to SH2.
So, who still plays it? |

I dropped SH2 a long time ago, mainly because it has no campaign at all, only a series of single missions. Kind of like an FPS. SH3 is so far beyond it I can't go back, unless of course someone started up a new multiplayer board. Even then I'd probably use DC and play the escorts.
I still have SH1, which was far superior.

I'm still playing on my other Win 98 computer along with Aces of the Deep and for perspective, Destroyer Command.

I still occasionally play Pacific Aces.

I actually have the game but never played it. After reading the posts about all it's limitations, I figured it wasn't up to snuff. |

I think it's at least halfway decent with mods. Pacific Aces is one of the best things I've seen in a mod if you don't count TMO or GWX.

I uninstalled it 2 hours after I installed (my bad for not reading the box and thinking it was the successor to SH1) I have no interest in German boats. (Expect for torping then )

I still play both SHII and DC. However, I primarily play the randomly generated missions just to pass time. It has already been said that there is no real campaign, which is very true and thus has little replay value beyond the random generated missions and the rare instances where multiplayer becomes an option. Naturally, the PM mod is required.
