Russia is flush with cash due to they being a major oil / gas exporter. They have $'s to burn on crap like this. |

Their new boomers are basically Akula hulls that were never finished. Again old tech. In other words the Russians are just finishing their first 5th generation submarines while the US is launching their 6th generation design and working on the final version of it. |
