nav map sonar update glitch/

hello. new to silent hunter and really enjoying. updated to stock version 1.5 and have no map updates on sonar or visual. checked gameplay options and reinstalled the game. when i do have sonar contacts only have guidelines toward bearing. no little red squares with tails. been messing with it all day. plz help. thanks
