Evening all,
Managed to finally get SH3 working after numerous WIn 7 and Steam issues following Win 7's refusal to run from disk. SO, fired up the game last night and all working well. THen installed GWX 3, all working well. Come back to it this evening and Steam refuses to load the game! Get the following Steam Error: "Failed to start game (app already running)" This is a lie, nothing is running. So, to the SH3 community... advice welcome on how to get me back into the Battle for the Atlantic as I am pulling my hair out in frustration. Note: I have tried to delete appcache like steam suggests but dosent change a thing. |

If that happens, shut down Steam and start it up again and then you should be able to start the game up fine. You may have to do this every time though.
