SH5 FRUSTRATION!

Hi Guys
I have been playing SH5 as and when for some months on the stock game as I get used to it on a medium level but that spinning destroyer when I stop is driving me crazy once it latches on I cannot easily get rid of it and it follows me all over the map. I am open to polite suggestions to your recommendations.
