I just bought the revell ixc and viic models. For one of these I would like to do a cutaway model using the cmk interior kits for control room, torpedo room, etc... I understand there are a lot more detail kits (wood decking, brass kits, etc..) for the viic so I'm leaning towards that one. Anyone, ever use these cmk kits, if so how are they? Is it hard to fit them into the hull?

Since that's what they were made for, they should go in just fine. Here is one builder who did just what you (and I) have been thinking of.
