Default Spec Ops Missions

Running TMO RSRD

Just wondering is there a way to get more special missions, especially when using the Narwhal Class, which basically from 43 on rarely went on a regular patrol, they were usually running some type of special op mission, sinking ships when they encountered them.Even with fleetboats, so rare.Later war lifeguard duty was a very common duty. Rarely get a photo recon or anything else, just curious.

I know what you mean. I guess you would have to put them in the campaign. I don't know how all that works.

I was thinking that it would be good if mining missions could be simulated.

Mining missions should be able to be simulated , they are in Op Monsun, which is u boats for SH 4 as you know, there are mining missions there.Mine shows up in water and everything.

The Narwhal is the thing that bothers me most.If I knew how I would create them and integrate them into RSRD if possible.Ducimus had the right idea in TMO I believe, I remember he had a "special ops flotilla" where your boat would pick up special ops patrols pretty opften

I agree.

Mining and Spec Ops would be pretty cool.

Still not home, I could walk you through it when I get home. You basically create mis file inside patrol objectives, right click on map, think map zone, then mission tab set your parameters, objective, triggers, etc.. Then you have to add to campaign cfg, flotilla, etc in the upccampaigndata, some other things.

Trying to think of a mod you would work within so you could see the right files, maybe the RSRD pre Pearl Harbor mod.

That would be great.I would like to incorporate it into RSRD , I would make it where Narwhal class does nothing but special missions from 43 on, as they did in real life. Also, where get more special ops missions for the fleet boats.
