Really sad that those guys had to be associated with such an evil regime

Throwing medicine/supplies to the very survivors of the ship they just blew up, shows how human and humane those courageous men really were..

thanks for sharing, keep them coming

You really think blow up a tank full of people with a torpedo is a evidence of human greatness?

LemonA, it is hard to judge people, whose time we do not live in.

I'm not saying you are incorrect and they were all awesome, corrageous; but it is a very hard to judge/talk about people's morality if you haven't lived in their time and their situation.

And hopefully we won't have too have that kind of time or situation ever again. It's bad enough the way it's going in the Middle East. It would be great if everyone in this big wide world could play nice with each other and not fight.

signed, endorsed, 100% agreed.

But, unfortunately, I don't believe it.

The part of helping of the survivors, was on their own. Sending a warhead into the ship was their jobs.

I've read a good amount of books over the years, and honestly the German Navy seemed to be the most "normal/humane" forces.

They weren't out to kill people, it just came with the job, the job was to destroy the ships and cargo it was carrying.. Although I'm sure there was many that the cargo was indeed, troops.

Americans did it too, although it was against the rules from almost the start
