Looking for 'fun' things I can do with Commander

As I'm getting closer to 'polishing' my current SHIII/GWX setup, I want to start including things that can be done using SH3 Commander. For instance, I know that there are mods/options that can be utilized by proper placement in Commander's subfolders. The ones (for now) I'm interested in utilizing are the following ones:

Cfg
Date
Random

I'm pretty sure that I've run across (::sighs:: somewhere!

) skin packs for the MFM mod that would go into the date folder. But I'm curious what other Commander-activated options others use, and would recommend.

It's not a direct game thing, but there is my Randomized Loading Screens Mod.

It gives a different loading screen every time you load the game. It also does have one big in-game function: The music the dockside band plays is also randomized between 25 different songs.

Church also put out a war radio mod that uses the SH3 Commander date function.

Yep, and it's a cool one. You get to hear speeches and war reports on the correct dates.

If that turns out not to be to your liking, I have a copy of the original. Unfortunately Church left it as individual files that need to be placed into the proper date folder. I'm currently downloading Irish's version to look at it and see what he added. After that I'll be willing to organize Church's original version to work properly with Commander.

I just had a look at the version Irish1958 put up, and it looks good. Everything is in the proper date folders and ready to go. I don't know why he included a song randomizer though - Commander comes with one built in.
