Default New player.. finding my way around

Firstly, thanks to all those who give their time and make the effort to make the simulation a bit less "arcade like". I was a fan of SH3 a few years ago... I thought I might try a subsim again and move on to SH5... it was a bit of a disappointment but hopefully the mods will sort it for me.

Im sorry first post contains a question, but Ive been lurking and looking for an answer to this one on the forum and cant seem to figure it out. I have just downloaded Jimimadrid's excellent keyboard mapping utility with the aim of trying to have the periscope movement controlled by a keyboard input. I cant figure out which command in the available list to bind to a key. The rotate left and rotate right commands have no effect at all.... does a mod guru have any suggestions?

Thanks again for all the hard work on the modding so mere mortals such as myself don't lose faith with subsims.

Welcome aboard

Can't help with your question, but I can say that I used to love going to Cheltenham for a beer or two when on a swing shift from Brize.

Good to have you here mate, hopefully you'll have better luck with the next mod foray.

Thanks for the welcome fellas... Ive also decided to reinstall my old SH3 and go back to that for a while... What a nightmare!... new computer, trying to find updates for crapforce for Vista because I cant get the program to work after uninstalling it using the utilities. Finally get it updated to 1.4b so I can apply GWX and find its stuck in pause when I open up the sim.... arrrrghhhhh.

I just know it will be worth it in the end when I get it working again!
