[REQ] Help - HUD\Button Coordinates?

Ok, Ive been playing Silent Hunter Series for some time now, and Ive been on this site for a long while as well....

As far as my own MODS go, when I dont know something I usually download any and all mods related to that topic and reverse engineer until I figure it out...

I want to do something to support the modding community and give back to the site and the people who seem to love it...

This is the first mod I am working on that I want to release, basically an interface and menu overhaul... my only issue is that I dont fully understand the way the coordinates are laid out and used as far as the HUD and Orders Bar go?

A) How do I figure out and visualize what the grid actually is (measuring pixels?)

B) Even though I realize\think you can define a size (32,32) in the Orders Bar file, do the sizes of the actual icons in the HUD and button files need to stay the same size or change in relation?

C)Also I am not really sure how to get transparency to work or what surfaces\buttons it can work on

I do apologize if this question has been answered someplace in here, Ive looked for 2 days....

Yeah it's for SH5 I Know, but if you read through it (and even try it) I guaranty you'll get an understanding of how to use the numerical referances to place items on screen.

I'm pretty sure he even explains the diferences between SH3, 4 + 5?

Hitman : That is awesome, even just skimming through I can see this will not only answer my questions but also give me a better understanding of the entire system I am working with.....

Thanks for the help! I have only had a chance to skim both but I will come back tonight once my little one is asleep to try and learn as much as possible.... Ill definitely keep you guys updated! I just moved to a city where i know not a soul so i have nothing better to do!! lmao..
