Default (REL) B25 Camera mod

this little mod will replace your camera in SH3
features:

1. water effect on binoculors. Now when waves are high your binoculors will be blurry with water, like the real thing

2. water effect on conning tower free cam. When a big wave hits the camera will be blurry with water temporarily

3. water effect on UZO, periscope and observation scope

3. new wider angle lense all around. Wider view.

4. Right click to go into free camera mode. Hit num pad 0 to return to previous camera view.

Compatible with all supermods, however, may not work with all GUI mods.
B25

Two Versions :

1. Stock GUI:

I think I found a small glich with it ...

I use the MaGui F mod and the B25 mod seems to cut the bottom of the scopes off ... e.g. I use the yellow filter mod that works with MaGui and with the B25 installed I can see nothing but yellow at the bottom of the scopes and with it un-installed it's just cut off at the bottom of the scopes and you can see what ever happens to be there ... and if it's at night you'll see day-light

complutum, yes thats fine it will overwrite your old camera.dat file thats all. I am also using it with FM interiors.

von Kinderei, thank you for that update. I am using this camera with Magui 3.4, and I have adjusted the scopes. Now I think I may need to test this and release a new version that is compatible with other GUI mods. Is anyone else having an issue with scopes using various GUIs?

OK I found the issue, and I can make a version that has the scope settings of the stock camera. However if there are differences between several GUIS I would have to make versions for those. I will look into this. Stay tuned

"compatible with all mods" indeed!

UPDATE: OK please see first post. Two versions- one for use with stock gui (and probably most others) and one for use with Magui 3.4. So unless you are using Magui I would use stock version and it should work.

Von kinderei, Magui F must use different settings from magui 3.4. if u are interested I can make a version for magui F

Good job brett25!

That's what I call "immersion" when I am on the bridge in bad weather conditions

I'll try your Magui version (I use Magui 3.4) cause I have a few glitches on the binoc view with the stock version. Keep you posted.

Have you tested this with GWX?

Jim, yes I play an install with GWX3 and it works fine. Do you use the stock settings for the scopes in GWX or did you modify at all with regards to the GUI? (Basically what changes from mod to mod are the viewpoint settings under the camera parameters for each scope)

I play GWX with Magui, so im not certain what the GWX camera settings were. I can easily make a version if there are discrepancies.

Victor Schutze, thanks for the feedback, let me see what that is all about. Yeah, the blurry binocs are really immersive. also setting up an attack in a strom using the UZO is now like that too.

UPDATE Victor Schutze, try downloading the stock version again. I adjusted an angle setting in the Binocs and I think it should work now, let me know
