Some of us like planning our attacks and navigation on a maneuvering board. The free to download 3D design program Sketchup has a protractor, a measuring tool, a line tool and a circle tool. Now it has a maneuvering board too.
![]() This is how it looks like. ![]() I edited Wazoo's nomograph in it as well Now you can zoom into the nomograph and get a little bit more accurate reading. ![]() There is a text tool so you can write down information on your drawing. You could make a plan of attack before attacking that convoy and write the plan down. ![]() You could use the maneuvering board for marking the times, bearings and ranges as well. You can also copy paste in Sketchup. You could have 10 maneuvering boards side by side. The maneuvering board template can be downloaded from here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3708 Installation: 1. Download Sketchup from it's home page 2. Download template 3. Put template in Sketchup's folder Resources/en-US/Templates 4. Install Sketchup and set "Maneuvering board metric" as the default template If you want to learn maneuvering board techniques google "maneuvering board pdf" Usage: Unfortunately Alt+Tab is needed to switch between SH3 and Sketchup. Alternatively you can run Sketchup on an old computer side by side with your new computer.

Sure Steve, absolutely astonishing work that aaronblood's MoBo is. I used it a lot some years ago. It did have some quirks that made me eventually give it up. I can't remember exactly what is was, probably just me being too old school to learn new tricks. MoBo is definitely worth a try if using a maneuvering board is something one wants to try.
