Can someone recommend a Navigation mod for me? I'm currently using the stock model.
I read people talking about tools on the map, and colored lines.... Any particular mod you might suggest? |

The most major mods change the line cursor tool to have a (south on top) compass fixed to it. Or atleast one that is easily readable, compared to the stock waypoint cursor.
Personally I tweaked those files (SH3 gamefolder\data\menu\MouseCurs) to have such a compass fixed to ALL navmap tools that use lines (waypoint, line, compass, protractor). This is it: http://www.mediafire.com/?wsl88jh63d409hl [EDIT] Now also on subsim: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3704 I would suggest you find a mod that adds a nomograph on the map. This thing allows you to easily calculate time/speed/distance problems with just drawing a line across it. For me that is the only thing I require for navigation. Personally I do not want to be spoiled by knowing the friend or foe status of the contact. So I leave them grey. Can't help you with a fix for that.
