Default WANTED: sh5 missions & mission designers

is anyone out there designing missions for sh5 and have you uploaded them for sharing?

i know most people think sh5 is still in the developement stage being finished by modders but i must say i am a little shocked that we havent seen anyone creating missions for it yet.

please consider this your triple dog double dare or whatever

if anyone feels up to the challenge then please i wish you would consider looking into it. sh5 has no player created missions to download and try AFAIK and IMO right now is a great time to get into it while those members who developed missions for sh3 and sh4 are still around to offer help and insights as to how to get things to work the way you want them too.

Perhaps you could add a sub-forum for this like SH3+4 have and this would stop any posts fading of the board

Here is another by Cerberus Ambush of RMS Queen Mary

A sub-forum would probably be a good idea
I did not even know that a Queen Mary Mission existed ...

thanks Trevally

the reason there is no sh5 mission sub-forum is because there was nothing to put in it

two missions isnt much to start with but we gotta start somewhere, i will ask neal to think about adding a sub-forum to put them in and hope we get a lot of interest in it

playing carrers are great but they take time when sometimes you just want to play and a quick game is all you have time for

AHH!! .. If I had just clicked that link! ... thanks for pointing me in the right direction .... I just watched the Natl. Geo special on the Bismark, and in one night I went from SHIII to SHV (and replaced all sound files with the old Das Boot sound files, and added some new sound mods) ... So far it's AMAZING .... once I turned off the edge glow and bubbles, and got rid of Bloom effects, it really smoothed it out and feels more realistic.

Now I'll read how to add fan made scenerios and grab Battle of the Denmark Strait. 1st! Thanks again! - Darrin

Glad to help. There are two dedicated DBSMs just for SH5. They weren't done by me, though, so how good can they be?

Just kidding of course. My computer doesn't run SH5 too well, but I've read a lot of good things about both of them.

Mine didn't either until I turned off bloom ... now I can crank the graphics and it's smooth. You should try it. Look for Lights.cfg and inside it set any reference to bloom to zero .... that should help a lot!
