All around British Islands to BF11 for 24 hours sitting tea party... and only ONE contact, except few pesky patrols of ASW trawlers and torpedo boats... trough Hebrides... wind does not come down below 15 m/s and half way trough was raining... zero visibility...
Did I sunk whole UK's merchant fleet? Or the game had stuck in some infinite loop? I did have these kind of patrols in SH3 vanilla... but in 1943/44... not in August 1940... Does game takes your current renown points or tonnage into account when creating "spawning points" or contacts on the map? Maybe torpedo load-out has some influence (all T2)? Something is wrong...

i have had this problem myself a few times, the weather is awful for up to a week and you have nothing to do as you cant see a thing. i discovered its suicide in later times when they get radar. they just pop up behind you and start blasting.
i suggest you just dive under and pump up the TC so it passes more quickly. you sometimes get a contact as well if you are lucky ![]() |

Bad weather=immediate dive to 30 meters for me. I've learned some hard lessons about sailing in zero visibility.

Well off course... I have been 90% of time submerged... that is not the problem... I'm always submerged when in range of air crafts... the lack of enemy shipping bothers me...
