Default shipwrecks

Hi shipmates.
Could someone please tell me is it possible in game to actually collide with old shipwrecks whilst on patrol underwater?
If not perhaps this could be a realistic addition to the game play.
Many thanks to those that reply.

As far as I'm aware old shipwrecks are not modelled in the game. If there is a mod for this I'm sure someone here will point you to it. Having said that, you can collide with ships that you have torpedoed and are sinking or have sunk to the bottom in shallow water. I have had that happen to me once.

Shipwrecks are modelled iirc. I remember some ports having them. Not submerged though.

I used a sunken ship in shallow water to escape destroyers. I had about 3 Destroyers , a corvette, and a trawler hunting me. It was a Large Convoy right near a port. I sunk two ships and i parked my sub underwater right next to the large merchant that was mostly sticking out of the water. DD's cant dc me there, they'd crash! It was a heck of a story. I posted it somewhere.....

If the vessel in question is still rendered/viewable then yes you can still collide with them and receive damage.
