I've got a problem where my FPS drops from the high 60s to 7 and a bit, with no clear cause that I can make out. Oh, and the camera runs out of sectors and gives me a Blue Screen of Drowning whenever I try to go external. This includes the external deathcam, and as a special favour it leaves behind its misty blue sheen which then coats the main menu - looking quite nice in the process - until I quit the game.
I've tried removing all mods, reverting the SH5.exe back to stock, loading, saving without mods, loading modless save with mods, loading modded save without mods but with patched .exe in every possible combination until it felt like ![]() Ho humble. The point is, if I knew where to look I could somehow transfer the data to another machine running SH5, if only I there was some sort of communication network that would allow me to do so. Well, whaddya know. Any captains out there prepared to help a friend in need? Is my masterplan even possible? Or are my saves locked to my particular hardware/udontplay account/DNA swab? If the laws of physics don't stand in the way, I'll zip them and pop the file in my dropbox. Then hopefully, you'll be able to load it and tell me if you get the same trouble. Oh, nearly forgot - here's the current soup recipe - but bear in mind that the problem stays even when I unload all mods and load the game. Quote:
