Default TMO - Cycle Tubes key W only works on fwd tubes on Sargo class?

recently installed TMO/RSRDC/OTC, and my Cycle Tubes key W only works on fwd tubes on Sargo class. Which key cycles the aft tubes?

Thanks

Go to your SH4 \ Data \ CFG \ Commands.cfg file.

There is a long list of commands, so use the Find option, under edit, or I think it CTRL+C on the keyboard.

Look for the "Y" with quotes. The one you want will say Cycle Aft Tubes.

At the front of the line, it is commented out with ";". Remove the ";" from the front of the line, and you will have the Y key back for cycling the tubes.

You can do the same with the letter "E", for a key command to blow ballast.

That should get'cha back in business.

Ahh, thanks Hylander_1314. I've had the same problem but just was never concerned enough about it to ask.

No problem Werner. Glad it's useful!

If you check the TMO FAQ, it led me to the Commands.cfg file, and so I poked around in there just looking up words or key commands with the quotes, and it was rather enlightening to say the least.

Amazing what we do when we're board...............

Although a 5,000 sq. ft. garden is taking up a lot of time now! Not much time to be board for sure! Especially keeping the fury critters out. Cute, yes, but not growing it for them!

By default, the "E" key is used to cycle aft tubes in TMO.

These are right out of the Command.cfg file. The option is there for either.

[Cmd323]
Name=Cycle_torp_tube
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0x57,,"W"
;Key0=0x59,,"Y"

[Cmd324]
Name=Cycle_fore_torp_tube
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0x59,s,""
Key0=0x57,,"W"

[Cmd325]
Name=Cycle_aft_torp_tube
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0x59,c,""
Key0=0x59,,"Y"
;Key0=0x45,C,"E"

Separating them by a few keys works better for my fat finger key strokes.

[Cmd202]
Name=Emergency_surface
Ctxt=1
MnID=0x3F230003
Str=1034
Key0=0x45,C,"E"

With the Emergency Surface key next to the tubes key, it forces me to practice accuracy on the keyboard.

But I have had a couple unexpected situations, shall we say?
