Need help with JSGME, Please...
I need help with JSGME, please.
Backround... Played SH3 for yonks, and still love the game, but it does not run on W7. Found SH5 a week or so ago in a pile of "ON SALE" games. Bought and installed the game and ran the updates (It is now v1.2, apparently) And thats where the trouble started. The game is not very user friendly. So I thought, MODS!!! Started googling and found this website (Very cool site , by the way) and lots of mods. Dials, weather, AI improvements, the list goes on. Anyway, read lots, played little. Finally found JSGME here as well, cause all the threads said its a "must have" to mod SH5. But... It doesn't work. Not for me, anyway... I read the Readme and followed the instructions, but the mods don't work. I have JSGME in the root folder. Have it running in W7 compatability mode and running it as an administrator. Copied all the mods into the default MOD folder. Activated the mods I want, and... Nothing. The AI is still sluggish, the torp controls are still stupid, my boat still has no camoflage. The list goes on. Can someone please give some advice. What am I doing wrong? Please help... Tx. Camo. |

SH3 and SH4 do run on Win7. I have Win7 64bit and they run just fine

allrighty then...
Well, SH3 crashed my PC so badly I had to format and reload everything. But thats not really the point. I found a lot of mods online, yours included, and I'd like to run some of them, but I'm not getting it right. Where can I find a step-by-step instruction on how to use JSGME that some kind soul wrote for techologically disabled people like me
