What you haven't heard this story, man you liven under a rock ???? well story goes as this some blind chinesse disadent guy escapes house arrest and might be hidden at U.S embassy. goggle it.

I assume that this guy was under house arrest because if not then his guards must be feeling really foolish that a blind man managed to escape from them and even if he was under house arrest how hard is it to keep track of the guy seeing as he is blind and that surely hinders a rapid and stealthy escape.

Yeah, he's been under house arrest for a while. He tricked his guards by not coming out in daylight for a while, so they thought they knew his routine and adjusted their awareness accordingly.
Major kudos to the guy though, and those who helped him, moreso those who helped him in fact because he will (hopefully) be given asylum...they will not receive the same fate...
