Default [REL] Iowa Class battleship

Hello, happy New Year!

Gerome73 created a first version of Iowa Class some years ago, then Ubisoft had its own, shipped with SH4. The SH4 model, though more detailed, was not fully accurate, especially deck levels were rather wild.

So, I converted, re-worked and re-textured the SH4 model, added missing parts, nodes and controllers, painted new skins, and blabla ...

... the result:

Good hunting!

Looks gorgeous!

I have found two issues with GWX3 Iowa Class:
1°.- It has only 8 2x127mm turrets and not 10. Must have been some faulty installation, though; I haven't played in a while.
2°.- I think its damage model is flawed, I remember making a single mission (after reading a fictional story) of an engagement between Iowa and Tirpitz in the Arctic, and Iowa sunk after receiving 2-3 salvos from Tirpitz. It happened twice. Again, I haven't played in a while.
I hope these issues are solved.

Hello borgneface!

Seems like I omitted the respective sentence from the documentation sheet:

"There is a text file with information to be added to the Ship name.cfg file of the SH3 Commander."

In case you use the SH3 Commander, place the content of the file into the file "Ship names.cfg" (using a text editor), which is in the SH3 Commander\cfg folder. Then a proper name will show up in the log whenever you sink her.

Snow-Leopard, I made no version for SH4 but yamatoforever/molke2005 may do that one day.
