Nubie question - Hidden/undocumented keyboard commands

I am interested in finding out what keyboard commands are available for SH4 both stock and with the OTC mod.

For example reading some posts, I found that <ctrl> <page-up> and <ctrl> <page down> fully raise and lower the attack periscope (rather than using the toggle on the screen or holding <page-up> or <page-down> until the scope fully raises or lowers.) Likewise <home> and <end> move the radar beam and hydrophones to different bearings.

I am particularly interested in finding out if the radar range switch (on the screen) and the torpedo speed switch have keyboard commands. It seems like I can click away on the switch and sometimes it doesn't switch no matter how hard I try.

I'd also like to know any other commands that may exist.

Welcome:

If you go to your SHIV root folder, you'll find a JPEG image called "SH4_Q-Ref_Card_Front". It'll show you all the keyboard commands for the Stock version.

I did that, but, for example, it doesn't show that <ctrl> <page-up> and <ctrl> <page-down> fully raise and lower the scope. That was why I was wondering if there were other undocumented key commands.

I haven't played stock in ages. I'm using TMO and the Insert/Delete, Page Up/Page Down keys (w/o using the Ctrl key) are what move the periscopes up and down.

Using stock, without the <ctrl> key, the page up/down moves the scope as long as the key is pressed - useful for lowering the scope slightly below the surface. With the <ctrl> key one press raises or lowers the scope fully (like the screen "button" but not as a toggle.
