Default SH5 dialog options

I love the fact that you can chat with your crew members, it was one of the reasons, along with the efforts of our modders, that I finally got to the point where I added SH5 to my list of sims I love. It's beutiful, you can wander around your boat, I love it.

But please tell me that I won't have to talk about the Bismarck until the end of the war when I talk to the radio guy. I know that I'm early in the war still, I just don't want to have to go over the same dialog for 6 game years.

Those of you who have switched to SH5 before I did, please let me know.

If you add that MCCD mod you will not be just talking about the radio operators dead brother . I t could be very intreasting if the cartoon of the crews members were manned by a human and each one had to do his job while on cruise , Il2 1946 has that abilitie for a whole bomber crew to be in the bomber and doing a sortie as a live crew ! No it will eventually change about topics that you can discuss with your crew !

I, for one, wish I could go back again to talking about his "brother on the Bismark" with, I believe, the radio operator, and similar orders and conversations with other officers and crew members but after stirring my MOD soup I seem to have lost that ability.

Now when I click on a crew member the conversation box contains usually only two possibility; "nothing more to say" and "keep up the good work". These are not exactly awe-inspiring conversations which a KL can use to pump up crew morale with.

The two groups of files which I believe affect this in my current MOD list are, first, and in this order;

MightyFine Crew Mod 1.2.1 Alt w beards
MCCD_1.04_MFCM_1.2.1_compatible
No magic skills v1.5 MCCD compatible

and then later in the MOD list, and again in this order;

Equip_Upgrades_Fix_1_4_AFFOE_151
Equip_Upgrades_Fix_1_4_Patch_1_AFFOE_151
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_byTheBeast
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1

As usual, I've probably made some dumb mistake but I tried every thing I can think of to get the boxes filled with lots of things to say to my crew as I used to be able to do and, so far, no luck.

Check my mod list . You dont have to have all the same mods , just make sure that the mods you have and i have are in the same order as my list .

Sober,

As requested, I revised my MOD list to as closely match the order of yours as possible. I've attached a copy of it below.

After loading up in an Historical Mission I found, unfortunately, that I had a couple more commands in the officer's boxes but still many less than I used to have. For example, nothing about the "brother on the Bismark" with, I believe, the radio operator, nor "6. How do you feel about going to war with the English and the French" or "7. I know you like to play pranks,........" with the 2WO.

Additionally, now when I try and start a NEW CAMPAIGN after selecting the campaign, COASTAL WATERS, and replying that I don't want to repeat the tutorial, everything starts fine but about halfway thru the loading process while I'm looking at the submarine picture with the different fact or saying below it "the wheels come off the wagon" and it dumps me unceremoniously back on the UBI screen which gives me two choices, CLOSE or EXIT.

I'm not sure where to go from here. Maybe after reviewing the revised MOD list you may, hopefully, have some advice.

I also noticed that some of the skills started acting funny after, I believe, I added No Magic Skills to get rid of the problem with accidentally promoting the torpedo officer and ending up missing all of your targets as a result (who knew he'd end up celebrating his promotion with gallons of Schnapps every day of the rest of his life?). Some of the "new" skills will show up correctly on the crew management screen, but not when I access the dialog. The Bosun's "rest the crew" skill, for instance, which is listed fine on the crew management screen, but is still called "Riposte" on his dialog screen.
