SH4 on steam

So after not playing SH4 for a few years i have downloaded it on steam and installed it now i am trying to patch it up to v1.4 and when i try to install it i am told that there is no copy of SH4 installed on my computer. Any idea were to find it?

Steam games should automatically have the latest patches installed when you buy them, and they update themselves when a new patch comes out. Check the version number in the game's main menu.

I have no experience with steam, but it would be a good idea to get v1.5 if you want to use mods (and you will). The best mods use the 1.5 version.
