How do you guys send data to the TDC?

Do you guys use the TDC dials or do you use the First Officer window? I find it confusing to have both windows open.

Sometimes when I use the TDC dials it gives a different reading on the First Officer window. So I guess I am going to have to disable one, and I like the TDC dials. I do like the recognition manual function in the First Officer window, but I think the main recognition manual should be the one I should be using.

Anyways, what do you guys prefer?
