Do you mean this bit?

Reports that Britian was sending a nuclear sub to the South *Atlantic raised tensions in the region yesterday.
If it is, then just like Daring, it'll be 'it's turn' and nothing provocative.

A couple I think.

Tireless and Turbulent have been on similar patrols so it could be either. It's a show of muscle, yes, but nothing more.

In fact, a Royal Navy sub was deployed to the South Atlantic roughly every year, and was on station 2 or 3 months.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut, only when The Sun needs a headline its presence is disclosed.

And there is no guarantee that the South Atlantic is either it's current, or future destination - After 9/11 a RN sub pitched up at Salalah Port, the guys on board last knew they were off the Eastern coast of Canada.

Nothing in life is guaranteed, but with such a deterrent lurking, I ought not rule anything out.

If indeed it is, a frown is the severest punishment the area will need, if to be had.

I think most of us are frowning at the current embargo on S.A. ports to our vessels linked to the Islands - and it's not worked

Through time and events, perhaps I will acquaint you my true opinions, for the present I shall flatter, if only to avoid the character of turbulent or passive.

Submarines could be everywhere, everytime. Or, at least, your foe must assume that. However, most of the times someone inside UK government revealed that a sub was on its way south, or already there, he was not lying.

Remember that, back in 2010, when the drilling started and Argentina protested, The Sun published that a sub was moving to the islands. And, voilá, a couple of months later HMS Sceptre surfaced in Simonstown Naval Base (South Africa)

Regards!

I am pleased to see that you yet keep your ground, it cannot fail to bring about all good things.
