Default Need help please

I went to play tonight, first time in a year at least and the game that I had modified somehow got corrupted

I uninstalled my two careers, added in new ones, same result.

Uninstalled the game & reinstalled, patched & installed GWX 3.0

Now, this is what I am doing. I am loading all submarines, all years with the type 5 homing torpedo, my game and that is how I like it. Problem is when I do this and I go to the screen where I choose torpedoes for the sub all torpedo tubes are empty?

What else whould I need to change in the cfg file to allow for my subs to carry type 5's?

Thanks for your help.

What a difference a night makes

Stopped playing last night after uninstalling the game entirley then reinstalling from scratch:

Installed game at F:\SHIII (F:\ is my programs directory) Win 7 Ultimate.
Installed GWX at F:\SHIII
Installed SH Commander 2.7 in "F:\Program Files (x86)\SH3 Commander\SH3Cmdr.exe"

Today when I go to the game to play, I get this:

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...91086395_n.jpg

Anyone can explain this?

Description is a tad blurry here mate, re this;

"I am loading all submarines, all years with the type 5 homing torpedo, my game and that is how I like it."

First after your uninstall did you clean your My Docs dir ? Did you sweep your registry?

BEWARE: PLEASE BACKUP YOUR REG BEFORE DOING THIS !!!

Next question is, are you running other mods besides GWX? If not have you loaded the SH3 commander config files for GWX ?

If you are running other mods please post a list. Hope this helps.

Best regards.

I cleaned out my Documents yes but did not clean out the registry. What strings would I look for in the registry that would be related to SHII & not SH 4?

Did you look at all at my screenshots? Not sure of they will show up or not?

Ok, got it fixed. Rebooted Win 7 box after another clean install. That did it.

Thanks.

Glad your are all sorted out. It is highly recommended after making a clean install to always reboot your computer before playing.

With Win 7 64bit and 8 gigs of ram on a quad core I forget to reboot here and there everything is usually so stable :-)

Is windows 7 also installed into F:\windows? Or is this F: some seperate drive or partition without an OS? If the former, I'd also install SH3 Commander in it's own folder somewhere. Save some hassle with UAC. If it is the latter, then all is good.

No, the OS Win 7 lives on the C:\ drive, all drive letters C, D, E & F also live on two hard drives in a hardware Raid 0 array.
