I think you have on board graphics (motherboard built in graphics) that's why the games complaining, avoid onboard graphics better to have a nvidia or ATI graphics card. Though does the game let you load up? If so load up the game you should be fine if you adjust the graphics in the game options.

my laptop uses intel onboard graphics, runs it fine as long as I turn all the graphics right down and don't install too many graphics mods.

It's not what the game thinks it's getting, it's what the game is actually getting. Your onboard graphics set draws memory away from the the memory required for actually running the game. A real graphics card comes with its own memory, and doesn't draw from the main memory. Built-in graphics sets are almost never good for gaming. You need a real graphics card.

Great. When you have problems with games as graphic-intensive as SH5, remember that you were warned.

I guess it's not a computer made for gaming then but even if you get the game running you will eventually wanna add mods and push the graphics a bit so a tip from me is to take a look at a "real" graphics card. Just bought myself a new ATI HD 6870 (double fan) for 1600 swedish kr and thats about 234 dollars so not really expensive and you dont need as powerful card as that.

But hope you get it running on your computer as it is right now. To good game to miss. Good luck

When buying a PC for gaming always ask if it comes with a graphics card and what type is it. If the ackney face guy behind the desk says no but it does come with onboard graphics that has the latest technology for gaming in mind. Leave the store and don't look back! Buy a PC with a PCI-e nvida or ATI graphics card installed.

If the computer has a PCI-e slot in its motherboard you can buy a gfx card for it. The NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT is the min for SH5 from what I read in previous posts so get that one since it would be cheaper if you are low on cash. If the motherboard has no PCI slot your stuck with the on board graphics and probably wont be able to play SH5 since it wont let you load the game up.

My pc is running a nvidia 9800GT 512ram runs SH5 really well, gfx card came with the computer so wouldn't know how much this card costs today, but the card is oldish so should be low priced. They are good cards for starters.

If it's from a PC specialist business (small shop) you'll have already discussed the graphics card along with your requirements, if it's from a big shop then it's more than likely to have a cheaper graphics card and claim it's great for HD video, but that's not gaming.

A little bit of research prior to a relatively big spend can save money, time, and butt-ache!

If you are going to argue that your PC is everything you need, why did you ask us in the first place. If you're already convinced then you don't need anyone else's advice.
