Changing Ships Hull name and Captain TDW UI

TDW I have tried to change the name of the hull and the captains name from the default your creation . I went into the options py and changed as it was explained in the tuturioal , I went into documenst shf usres and made the change there howver that default name still shows what Iam doing wrong ?

I cannot find the snorkel In the options py in order to raise and lower were and what line is this Iam not using any6 editor but looking in the text file and locating the file ''please help
