Default As you do this please help?

See if you can help me out with this. I wish that when asked to resolve weapons officer shot solution that takes more than couple of seconds it takes or defect. It would be nice something like 15-20 seconds. The goal is that the shot does not result in point and shoot, but has a more realistic time delay.
I've been looking but I see no way to go. need to edit that file? thanks

Ever tried manual targeting ? It takes more than 20 seconds to gather the info on the target =]

A few problems I have with manual targeting is the fact you use the TDC most of the time, which is highly unrealistic, plus you gotta know the commander didnt do all those calculations, he didnt run through the ship, so he would get the info needed from the periscope and hope the rest of his men were compatant. With manual targeting, your doing all of it. I will say though its much more rewarding this way then point and click. I am currently working on learning how they really did it all, and completly ignoring much of the TDC and using the protractor tool and what not.

But the use of TDC is strongly related to manual targeting. Range, AOB, etc. You finish your manual targeting with inputs/corrections into TDC panel. Of course this wasn't a captain's duty to directly input data into TDC. But since there is no other option, you have to stay with no other option..

hi chun and welcome

you could always count down 20-30 seconds on the clock re-do the calculation and fire - OR manual targetting, which i still can not do!

good luck either way
