Default Driver out of date?

Well i did it!

I recently picked up SHV new for pennies (thank god) and can i play it? can i *&^%! On installation the system evaluater gives me green lights across the board except my driver version. Now my drivers are bang up to date, so what is going on here?

Can someone please help with this? if it means rolling back the driver version then iv'e thown away £5 and thankyou Ubisoft! (because that's not gonna happen)

@Elfishgene how did you go with that?

I've just bought me a DVD copy now that the've canned that insulting DRM.

Same thing, I get the menus and what not fine, but once the game is loaded (but before anything is displayed) CTD every time!

The detection tool says 'Graphic Driver Version : 103.04 (followed by a big red X).

When I ignore it, I get a message saying my system doesn't meet the min. specs and that I may encounter problems running the game.

I have an Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 with the latest driver version 285.62

Where did the detection tool pull the magic number of 103.04 from? Is it perhaps referring to some other driver, like the monitor, not the card?

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

BTW it is a brand new version 1.0 dvd autopatched upto 1.2 with no mods running on vista premium on a pretty speccy machine and I don't have any similar probs with other programs.

Default

run the DXSETUP.exe file from the directx folder on the disc. It should be located in \Support\DirectX on the disc .
Also run the VCRedist and press repair .
