Default The Arab League Stands Firm

Good to see Assad being stood up to.

Arab League rejects Syrian demand to change peace plan

Quote:
The Arab League has rejected a demand by Syria to alter its plan for ending the country's conflict, which has reportedly left at least 3,500 dead.
It dismissed Syria's demand to amend its proposal for a 500-strong observer mission to be sent to the country.
The Arab League's deadline for Syria to end its crackdown passed overnight with no sign of violence abating.
President Bashar al-Assad has said his country will not bow to "pressure" and predicted the conflict would continue.

I can't wait to see all the head scratching, a year from now, who knows maybe less, when the freedom and democracy movement really gets rolling in Iraq.

The title should read, Syrian people stand firm against NATO & CIA

This should sum it up, no more western brainwashing

So the pictures of soldiers shooting at unarmed protestors are actually covert op NATO soldiers? Damned, good to know, I mean they forged the moon landing, why can't they slip into Syrian uniforms?
Yes, I bet a destabilized Syria with an unknown outcoming is probably what its neighboring states want

Nice video btw: speaking of peace in front of flags of the Hezbollah Seems like the naives don't die out. Or was this the Syrian section of the tea party, blaming Obama for every evil in the world?

Well, I guess that's what one can expect from a Maoist...

Looks like the stance is toughening...

Syria unrest: Arab League to vote on economic sanctions

Members of the Arab League are set to vote on an unprecedented array of economic sanctions against Syria.
The proposals include the halting of dealings with the Syrian central bank, the suspension of commercial flights and a travel ban on senior officials.
Arab ministers drafted the sanctions at a meeting in Cairo, in the latest move to punish Syria for its continuing brutal crackdown on protesters.
Syria's foreign minister has accused the League of meddling in its affairs.
