That's good for most New Yorkers, but isn't the taser a more popular law enforcement weapon these days since it disables the perp? Would like to see the stats on taser use from NYC, because as firearm discharges have gone down I'll bet taser use has climbed

 Besides a taser is funnier, and actual police work takes a back seat to the "compliance by pain and intimidation doctrine" Thanks Bloomberg, Not every mayor has a newspaper to spew garbage from. Maybe one day I will tell you about how He blocked Rudy Guiliani from a third term after 9-11 when he was a member of the city council..Then had that law killed when he decided he wanted a third term. (oh, I just did) I really love Wall Street Billionaire politicians, don't you? Go ahead, defend him ....

The police have a nasty reputation with some of the extreme tactics they have taken up recently. My bad. Bloomy owns Bloomberg News network. I should have made some kind of differentiation. But my fingers sometimes type the words faster then my brain can proofread for sense.
