Default Few Qestions about Real Fleet Boats v1.4 Mod

After a series of HDD crashes (replaced my aging PSU that was suspected of ripple...so far, so good) I reinstalled SHIV and decided to give a mod a try.

Question 1: I downloaded the torpedo fix mod and installed it. JGSME first warned me about it, saying something like the original mod had already altered the file. Should I be using it or not?

Question 2: When I zoom in/out of the map and drop waypoints, the waypoints stay stationary while the map zooms, giving the "illusion" (?) that some of them are actually on land. Is this a bug?

Question 3: Other than the small amount of documentation that came with the download, is there any other detailed description of the changes (I looked and can't find any).

Question 4: I've had a few CTD, but not many. Any tips on keeping it stable? (eg: Don't switch views really fast (that's what's caused some CTD's for me)).

I'm also assuming the deck gun has been altered to be less lethal. My first contact was two unarmed merchants that I tried sinking with the guns. I spent nearly two hours pounding away and watched it sail into the sunset with just a bloody nose (deck on fire).

No complaints so far, though. Thanks to all the guys who made such a fabulous looking mod!
