HELP WITH SH4

I AM A NEW MEMBER HERE AND NEW TO SH4................PURCHASED A COPY OF THE GAME ON CD.

HAVE HP COMPUTER, G FORCE 9100 CARD

WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM

6 GIG PROCESSOR

CLEANED REGISTRY

IN STALLED SH 4 FROM DISK AND BEFORE PLAYING INSTALLED 1.4 UPDATE PER WHAT I READ IN THE FORUMS HERE.

IT WILL NOT RUN, MESSAGE SAY INTRO DLL IS MISSING.

THIS WAS A FRESH COPY OF SH4 WITH NO SAVED GAMES AND I UPGRADED TO VERSION 1.4 BEFORE LAUNCHING SH4, SO I AM LOST ABOUT WHAT TO DO NOW?

CAN SOMEONE HELP? WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE THAT, AM LOST WITH WHAT TO TRY NEXT....AND DID TRY IN THE PROCESS, JUST TO SEE IF THE GAME WOULD LAUNCH BEFORE UPGRADE AND IT DID................THAT WAS BEFORE INSTALLING PATCH 1.4..............BUT DID TRY INSTALLING PATCH 1.4 BEFORE RUNNING GAME AS WELL...........BUT KNOW THE GAME WILL LAUNCH WO THE PATCH FOR WHAT THAT IS WORTH.
