Dumb Question....

On the opening movie for Silent Hunter 3, is the voice of the captain Jurgen Prochnow? Sure sounds like him, but he's not in the credits.

It's been so long since I removed the opening stuff from my regular game I had to open up my backup install just to listen to it. I use the Das Boot Sound Mod, so I hear him in-game all the time, and it doesn't sound like Prochnow to me. It's probably one of the cheap voice actors they hired.

Okay. I didn't figure it was. Just been awhile since I've seen Das Boot. Memory distorts things. Lol

But the video in the opening page in GWX is indeed from das boot.

True, but the video on the Menu page doesn't have sound, unless of course you change it to the scene where they're walking through the sub pens, which I did. I also use the mod that puts a compilation of real u-boat footage for that screen.
