SEVERE WEATHER ALERT FOR THE US

Recent news reports indicate a HUGE storm called Irene is heading for the east coast of the US.Winds are expected to reach in excess of 120mph and shipping has been advised to vacate the immediate area.
This looks a truly terrifying storm, even the 'eye' could be seen from space

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2011/08/2...ne-irene-2011/

Hope some of you dont get hit by this monster.

Let me link you to a awesome site. Being that I do emergency response for FEMA and have already been moving disaster supplies since yesterday I use this site for best updates on current storms. Very interactive site and accurate.

FEMA - The governments are definitely preparing for something big thats for sure, maybe large scale de-population for starters.

Currently I have 28 trailers of generators/relief supplies coming from Atlanta GA. This is one of FEMA's distribution center. These trailers will be spotted at Fort Bragg NC. I have two IMAT trucks coming from CA. These trucks are for search and rescue. These are my only tasks for now. There are others but these went to different transportation outfits.

Tracking the storm since Sunday the predicted landfall has changed quite a bit. First predictions was landfall in Jacksonville FL. Then it moved to Charleston SC. The following day Wilmington NC. Then yesterday it showed landfall straight up the Chesapeake Bay. Now it shows landfall way up in the New England area. The jet stream is slowly pushing the storm back out to sea(eastward). This is favorable and a better outcome.

If I presume correctly, he meant something else - just type 'FEMA' and 'depopulation' into a search engine and check out the results

Hope it loses most of its energy if it moves eastward, there is a small island they call Britain out there *gulp*
