Default AI vs. AI. Two Chatbots Talking to Each Other

What happens when you let two bots have a conversation? We certainly never expected this...

Sounds like some religious arguments I've witnessed. Both sides change the topic every chance they get.

I would have thought better of robots. Not clever at all.

Odd...

I thought it was a meeting between John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi...

While its cool that they've got two chatbots working, what're the odds that when we do create a true AI it'll go Skynet on us?

I don't know about SkyNet; we could always just pull the plug...

However, we might find ourselves in a situation like the one shown in the 1970 film, "Colossus: The Forbin Project"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064177/

The book it is taken from is also a good read: "Collosus"

I'm not too concerned with computers taking over and wiping us all out for one simple reason: without humans to service them they will quickly fill with dust and cease to operate.

I found it most amusing, I wonder if the program is available for downloading?

Sounds like modern person to person chat these days.
