Disclaimer. Yes i know i use a boat that was not historical ready before december 1943. That is the only change. No fancy torps or stuf, only the sub.

But here is a small thing. first half of my maiden journey

I have screens etc, working on it. Doing the entire career i update the map with information.

This is actually not half bad.

Oh and no, leave it here. The "u-boat addon" separate forum is mostly for discussing the type IX and XVIII. I think discussing a japanese sub would be better off discussed here.

Sorry, me again.

Ill just refrase what I said below. This is the proper forum for several reasons, one of the being that FOTRS is discussed a lot in this forum. I remember it being brought up dozens of times.

But it's unquestionably about the Pacific. Nothing wrong with it here.

think the P-40 hea.....Warhawk have come to the same conlusion lol...well it proberbly stay here

More information will come soon both on the ongoing campaign, and abit about the side work on pre 1943 IJN options

Using history as background i can say that playing japanese submariner is kinda boring if you use 100% history in campaign, so im working on two part mission briefings. Primary <-- the boring one. secondary a more action based mission. To beef it up without burning history books, recon missions and agent drops are folowed by mission orders concerning that. This alow for some movement within the history pages without blowing it out of proportions.

Unfortently balance and gameplay are fighting against history and realism.

And i have had a few PM`s about this qustions about am i making a full japanese campaign.

NO, i am not creating a japanese campaign. Im modifying the German campaign so it fits a IJN player. Yes i am working on career start 1941, but im using stock files and are not including to much my self. Only plan to have one base for the player from 1941 to 1943 (Yokosuka naval base Tokyo bay) , after that it ties into the stock campaign.

Only reson i do this is because i want to play an entire campaign as commander of the Takao class heavy cruiser, the maya. There is no reson for me to take on the gigantic work load on creating a Japanese campaign when i know it is stil being worked on by one who have dedicatet alot of time to it. When that come out i will mod it so i can use hes full blown campaign with my maya, so im only making a "light" modified version of the stock game so i can play the maya from 1941

No reson for more PM`s about this
